ESA Essentials Wickless Candles offer a luxurious home fragrance experience without the need for a traditional wick or open flame. Our candles are designed to be gently warmed, releasing captivating aromas throughout your space.

Follow these simple guidelines to enjoy your candles while caring for your warmer.

Getting Started

  1. Prepare your space. Place your ESA Essentials candle warmer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface in a well-ventilated area, away from flammable materials.

  2. Prepare your candle. Remove the lid from your Wickless Candle and position the candle securely on the warmer's heating plate.

  3. Turn on your warmer. Plug in the warmer and press the ON/OFF button. The indicator lights will flash when the warmer enters standby mode.

  4. Select your temperature. Use the ON/OFF button to select your preferred heat setting:

    • Level I: 113°F — Low

    • Level II: 131°F — Medium

    • Level III: 149°F — High

    We recommend beginning with Level III for faster wax melting, then adjusting the temperature to your preferred fragrance intensity.

  5. Enjoy your fragrance. As the wax melts, your candle will gradually release its fragrance throughout your space.

  6. Finish safely. When you're finished, return the warmer to standby mode, unplug it, and allow the warmer, candle vessel, and melted wax to cool completely before handling.

Caring for Your Wickless Candle

  • Never light your candle. ESA Essentials Wickless Candles are designed exclusively for flameless warming.

  • No wick maintenance necessary. There's no wick to trim and no flame to extinguish.

  • Protect your fragrance. Once the wax has cooled, replace the candle lid and store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

  • Keep wax free of contaminants. Do not add water, fragrance oils, or other substances.

  • Replace when fragrance fades. The wax will remain even as its fragrance gradually diminishes. Replace your candle when it no longer provides your desired scent.

Caring for Your Candle Warmer

  • Always unplug the warmer and allow it to cool before cleaning.

  • Wipe the exterior with a soft, slightly damp cloth.

  • Clean the heating surface gently. Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh cleaning products that could damage its finish.

  • Never immerse the warmer or power cord in water.

  • Do not use the warmer if the power cord or unit is damaged.

  • Do not attempt to disassemble or repair the warmer yourself.

Important Safety Information

  • Hot surfaces: The candle vessel, melted wax, and heating plate can become hot during operation. Avoid touching or moving them until completely cooled.

  • Children and pets: Always keep candles, warmers, and electrical cords out of reach.

  • Placement: Use indoors on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from water and flammable materials.

  • Supervision: Never leave the warmer operating unattended.

  • Automatic standby: Your ESA Essentials warmer automatically enters standby mode after eight hours of continuous operation. This feature does not replace proper supervision or unplugging after use.

  • Wax disposal: Allow wax to cool before disposal. Never pour melted wax down household drains.
